Family, friends, and the places we go.
We document our adventures so you have everything you need to do them yourself.
The Wild Logs is a project built by a small team of family and friends. We hike, surf, fly, drive, and explore — and then we write down everything that actually matters: what it cost, what gear worked (and what didn't), how to get there, and what it was really like.
We're not influencers or travel writers. We're just people who love getting out there and figured the honest details from our trips could help others do the same. Every story on this site comes from someone who was actually on the ground, often voice-recorded in the field so nothing gets forgotten or polished over.
Our contributors come from all walks — pilots, hikers, surfers, engineers — but the common thread is simple: we want to give you the information we wished we had before we went.
If something on this site helps you plan a trip, avoid a mistake, or discover a place you didn't know about — that's the whole point.
